Dr. Navarrette was born in Columbus, Ohio but relocated to Phoenix at an early age, so Phoenix has always been home. She attended college in beautiful San Diego at Point Loma Nazarene University earning a BA in Biology and then attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine where she earned her MD. (Go Wildcats!)

She did her residency training at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center Pediatric Residency Program alongside Dr. Elizabeth Fisher. Dr. Navarrette spent her first several years practicing at a community health center in Phoenix prior to joining Cactus Children’s Clinic.

She is a board certified Pediatrician and fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has a wonderful supportive family including her husband and 2 daughters and is blessed to have extended family on both sides in the Phoenix area. Traveling, watching sports with her husband, playing with her kids and enjoying time with family and friends are some of the things she enjoys most.

She is excited to join the Cactus Children’s staff and looks forward to getting to know your family as she cares for your children.
