After Hours Procedures

Call our main office number, and our answering service will call you back. Please save routine questions (mild illness, appointments, prescription refills) for the morning. We encourage you to refer to our website first, when practical, before calling the office.

Emergencies

If an emergency should arise, please call 911. Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc. In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, mild fractures, sprains), please call our office first for instructions. After hours calls are for non-urgent problems. If there is a life threatening situation, call 911.

After Hours Triage

Please remember that after hours triage services are for parents seeking advice for established children for an illness only. 

Our answering service will not process requests for referrals, billing questions, or appointment issues and *PRESCRIPTIONS WILL NOT BE REFILLED AFTER HOURS. Please call your pharmacy to have the refill request faxed to the office.

Please note the following suggestions when calling the office after hours:

  • REMOVE YOUR CALLER ID by pressing *87, and leave your answering machine off when waiting for a return call. After the nurse has returned you call you can put your caller ID back on by pressing *77.
  • Have a pencil and paper ready to write down any instructions.
  • Have the name and telephone number of your pharmacy available. On weekend and weekday evenings please check with your pharmacy to be sure it is open before you call us.
  • If you do not receive a call back from our answering service with one hour, please call again to verify the correct phone number was written down.

What's New?

WE NOW CHECK IN WITH PHREESIA - You will be sent a text or email prior to your appointment. Please go through every prompt and asnwer all questions. Take pictures of your ID & inurance card and upload. Your child's information will be required to be verified at every visit. You may need to re-schedule your apt if not completed.
