As your child’s medical home, we are dedicated to being there for your child when your family needs us. Should your child wake up feeling ill, please call our office early in the morning to schedule a sick visit appointment. We will make every effort to have your child seen by the provider they are most comfortable with and one who is most familiar with their care. For your convenience and the well-being of all of our patients, our office is equipped with a sick child waiting area to prevent the spread of illnesses to healthy children visiting for regular checkups. 

No parent wishes for their child to experience an urgent medical concern, but it’s important to be prepared. Cactus Children’s Clinic provides our patients and their families peace of mind with access to an after-hours answering system. Should your child experience a non-life-threatening medical emergency outside of our office hours, you can call our main office line and our answering service will call you back. They will consult with you on your child’s symptoms, give advice on the next steps, and help determine whether further medical attention is necessary.
