Our medical staff includes board certified pediatricians and certified nurse practitioners.
A Certified Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse who has acquired knowledge and clinical skills in child health care through successful completion of a masters program in nursing, as well as a continuing education program. The content of these programs include growth and development, family and cultural issues, pediatric physical and development assessment, lactation consulting and common childhood illnesses and problems.
Our Nurse Practitioners can see your newborn during the first month of life, as well as subsequent well care visits. Please feel free to schedule your older children with a Nurse Practitioner for well care, minor illnesses and school/camp physicals. Our Nurse Practitioners are in constant contact with your child's pediatrician. We would like to encourage you to take advantage of our Nurse Practitioners' skills and areas of expertise.
