All office visits are by appointment only. Our Saturday visits with the physician are reserved for same day sick or emergency patients only. Please make an effort to have your child seen during the week as the illness presents. Our nurse practitioners are also available on Saturdays for well visits.
Most minor illnesses and injuries can be managed by the parent. Many common illnesses and injuries are covered in our handouts and child care books. Please refer to them BEFORE calling the office. Prolonged illnesses and complicated questions require an appointment with a physician or nurse practitioner. It is understandable that you may develop a preference for one doctor or nurse practitioner, and we will always try to schedule your appointments with that in mind. However, when it is not possible, we ask for your understanding and request that you make an appointment with one of the available doctors or nurse practitioners.
Please do not expect the doctor or nurse practitioner to examine more children than those you have scheduled to be seen.
| If you are unable to keep an appointment, please call the office ONE hour in advance of your appointment so we may use that time for another child. There could be another family with sick children that would benefit from an earlier appointment time. A $25.00 charge will be assessed for missed appointments, or those not canceled one hour prior to the appointment time. Consultations, which are are extended appointments, require a 24 hour cancellation notification; otherwise a $50.00 fee will be assessed to your account.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child to each visit. A signed consent form must be on file for any other adult, over the age of 18 years, other than the parent or legal guardian, to bring the child in.
We do have appointments available for shots on Tuesday's through Friday's 9am - 4pm. Yo may still have to pay your office copay for this visit depending on your insurance plan. Your child must be current on the recommended will child visits and an established patient at our practice to utilize this service.
